Raag Basant comes in at the 25th place in Guru Granth Sahib Ji. This raag is sung all through the spring season. As per Gurmat Sangeet the time of Basant is from the Start of Month of Maagh ( ਮਾਘ ) till the Hola Mohalla which falls close to Indian festival Holi.
